I actually feel pretty lucky to have been honored with the awards I’ve received. Trust me I am grateful to have won as many as I have, but sometimes I look back at my proudest moments in the business and often they aren’t ones where I’ve received applause from the ad community. The moments that have made me the most proud are when I have been able to do some good in the world or get a call or an email from a client’s boss sincerely thanking me for not just helping their business, but for elevating their brand to a new level.

We are lucky, we have the ability to make change and alter perceptions every day. Sure it’s nice to be recognized, but the challenge to do something positive or create something extraordinary, or beautiful, or insightful, or just plain funny is what keeps me coming back to the blank page over and over again.
